Wine Tasting with Sarah and Nate

With the beautiful weather of spring, the wife and I went on a wine tasting adventure with her sister Sarah, and Nate.  After a short detour through the mountains of Virginia, we finally ended up making it to 3 vineyards before closing time.  Village Winery, Loudoun Vineyards, and Breaux were great.  Village winery is a sleeper vineyard in Loudoun with absolutely amazing wines and even a more amazing host/wine maker/owner.  Loudoun vineyards had a live acoustic band, which matched perfectly with the weather, wine, and picnic on the huge lawns on the vineyard overlooking beautiful Virginia mountains.  We finished at Breaux which is popular due to its success and awards for their terrific wines.  The wine, weather, company, and music made this adventure a perfect beginning to the season.
